Our Philosophy & Care
At Miztli, our cattery was founded on an unconditional love for the giant European Maine Coon breed. We believe that exceptional companions are created through a harmony of certified genetic science, ethical cage-free living, and early positive socialization.
Our cats never live in cages or isolated runs. They roam freely throughout our home, sleeping on our beds and playing with our children and friendly dogs. This produces kittens with fearless, sweet, and confident temperaments.
We source our breeding studs and queens directly from premier European catteries in Russia, Ukraine, and Poland, selecting for massive bone structure, tall lynx tufts, robust square muzzles, and vibrant health.
Every sire and dam is DNA tested N/N (clear) for HCM, SMA, PK-Def, and PKD. They undergo regular echocardiograms with certified board veterinary cardiologists and test negative for FIV/FeLV.
Adopting a European Maine Coon from Miztli is a joyful experience. We keep you closely connected from pregnancy announcement to the moment your kitten lands in your arms.
