King Maximus is the cornerstone of our breeding program at Miztli. Imported directly from prestigious European champion bloodlines, Maximus exemplifies the true giant European Maine Coon type. At 24 pounds (11 kg) of lean, muscular frame, he commands attention wherever he steps.
Despite his imposing, wild lynx-like appearance with giant ear tufts and a massive boxy muzzle, Maximus is known as our gentle lap giant. He loves snuggling, purrs like an engine, and has passed his extraordinary loving temperament to all of his offspring.
Maximus boasts an extraordinary black smoke coat that flashes bright silver beneath each hair, a massive square chin, high broad cheekbones, and large oval copper-gold eyes. His tail measures over 18 inches of pure bushy plumage.
